Bookcicle LLC (US startup) is launching a new portal and services: AI Editing, AI Ghostwriting, AI Translation, and Novel→Screenplay conversion.
🚀 Full-Stack Engineer (Contractor, Madrid — Hybrid)
What you’ll do
- Build serverless backends in Rust/AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
- Develop frontends in React + TailwindCSS + MUI.
- Integrate with GenAI APIs (OpenAI, AWS Bedrock).
- Work in a fast-paced startup environment, using ChatGPT/Copilot to speed delivery.
- Hybrid: remote + 1–2 days/week coworking in Majadahonda, Madrid.
What we’re looking for
- Strong AWS serverless skills.
- Rust proficiency or strong backend experience + willingness to ramp fast.
- Solid React/JavaScript frontend skills.
- English fluency (working language).
- Based in Madrid (hybrid).
Contract & Compensation
- €30–45/hour (depending on experience).
- Contractor role (autónomo; invoice Bookcicle LLC).
- Initial 3-month contract, ~20 hrs/week, with potential to extend.

📈 Marketing Manager / Growth Strategist (Contractor — Remote/Hybrid Madrid)
What you’ll do
- Shape and execute our go-to-market plan.
- Craft narratives around real-world success stories (e.g., “One author made $3M self-publishing AI-generated books — Bookcicle makes that power accessible to all”).
- Test and optimize paid channels (TikTok, Reddit, Meta, Google).
- Develop affiliate/partner programs with writing coaches, indie publishers, and influencers.
- Own content marketing (blog, newsletter, SEO, socials) with our automation tools.
- Track KPIs and optimize CAC, retention, and transaction growth.
What we’re looking for
- Experienced in SaaS / digital product marketing (bonus if in publishing, creator economy, or AI).
- Strategic and hands-on — able to test ads, build funnels, and push campaigns live yourself.
- Storyteller with a growth mindset, comfortable riding the hype cycle.
- Data-driven, experiment-oriented, eager to own results.
- Fluent English (native or near-native written & spoken).
- Based in Spain; hybrid Madrid option preferred but not required.
Contract & Compensation
- €250–400/day (depending on experience).
