Logging In to Bookcicle
Bookcicle offers a secure and flexible login experience. You can sign in using your email and password, Google account, or a passkey (if enabled). For added security, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is supported.
Login Options
1. Email and Password
- Enter your email address and password on the login page.
- Optionally, check "Remember me for 30 Days" to stay signed in on your device.
- Click Sign in.
- If your account requires MFA, you'll be prompted to enter a 6-digit code (see below).
2. Passkey Login
- Enter your email address.
- Click Sign In with Passkey.
- Follow your device's instructions to complete passkey authentication.
- If you haven't entered your email, you'll be prompted to do so.
3. Google Login
- Click the Continue with Google button.
- Select your Google account and follow the prompts.
- If your account requires MFA, you'll be prompted to enter a 6-digit code (see below).
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
If MFA is enabled for your account, after entering your credentials (email/password or Google), you'll see a prompt to enter a 6-digit code:
- Enter the code from your authenticator app or received via your chosen method.
- You can paste the entire code or type it digit by digit. Navigation between boxes is automatic.
- Click Verify Code or press Enter after filling all boxes.
- If you need to cancel, click Cancel.
Error Handling
- If there is a login error (e.g., wrong password, invalid code), a clear error message will appear above the form.
- Click the Dismiss button to remove the error message.
Session and Cookies
- Bookcicle uses secure cookies to keep you logged in. If your browser blocks cookies, you may see a warning banner. Follow the instructions to adjust your browser settings or try again.
After Login
- Once logged in, you'll be redirected to your account dashboard or the page you were trying to access.
Troubleshooting
- Forgot your password? Click the Forgot password? link to reset it.
- Not a member? Click Create an account to sign up.
- Cookie issues? If you see a "Cookie Blocked" banner, check your browser's privacy settings and try again.
Analytics
- Bookcicle uses analytics to improve your experience. When you log in, basic account information (like email and plan) may be tracked for analytics and support purposes.
Example Login Workflow
- Go to the Bookcicle Login Page.
- Choose your preferred login method:
- Enter your email and password, or
- Click Sign In with Passkey, or
- Click Continue with Google.
- If prompted, enter your MFA code.
- On success, you'll be redirected to your account.
