Subscription Plans​

Bookcicle offers three main subscription tiers to fit your needs:

1. Basic (Free)​

2. Creator (Premium Intro)​

  • Everything in Basic
  • Metered AI services (pay-as-you-go, see below for metered AI pricing)
  • Cloud storage: 5 GB†
  • Bookcicle Desktop App (coming 2026)
  • Intro pricing: $69.99/year (was $99.99)

3. Studio (Ultimate AI Intro)​

  • Everything in Creator
  • Unlimited§ AI services
  • Choose any AI model
  • Priority queue
  • Cloud storage: 20 GB†
  • Bookcicle Desktop App (coming 2026)
  • Intro pricing: $180/month (was $249)

Metered AI Pricing (Creator Plan)​

If you're on the Creator plan, you can access metered AI services and only pay for what you use. Here's how it works:

How Metered Billing Works​

  1. First $1 of usage is free every calendar month (automatically credited).
  2. Charges accumulate as you use AI services.
  3. Invoice is generated once your running total exceeds $1 USD. The balance is added to your next metered-billing invoice.
  4. Small markup helps fund the platform (infrastructure, security, and distributed “agent swarms”).

AI Provider Pricing​

Bookcicle partners with multiple AI providers. Pricing varies by provider and model. For each provider, you'll find:

  • Model name and type (text or image)
  • Input and output token pricing (for text models)
  • Image generation pricing (for image models)
  • Markups (typically a small percentage to support Bookcicle)
  • Deprecated models are clearly marked and may be unavailable

Example (Text Model)​

  • Input per 1M tokens: $X.XX
  • Output per 1M tokens: $X.XX
  • 50,000 input tokens ≈ $X.XX (~37,500 words)

Example (Image Model)​

  • Standard image: $X.XX per image
  • High-res image: $X.XX per image

Are cloud storage limits strict?​

No, cloud-storage quotas are soft limits. You'll receive alerts well before you reach the cap.

How do I buy a one-off service?​
