Bookcicle Translation helps turn a full manuscript into another language.

The goal is not just word swapping. It aims to carry over meaning, tone, and structure so the result still feels like the same book.

As a simple rule of thumb, the base service aims to get you about 75% toward a final draft. If you add Advanced QA, it should get you closer to 80%.

What You Upload​

Translation works on full manuscript files such as:

  • DOCX
  • EPUB

What You Choose​

Before it starts, you choose:

  • the target language
  • the regional version when that matters

That means you can ask for things like Spain Spanish or Latin American Spanish, not just "Spanish" in general.

How the Flow Works​

The current flow is simple:

  1. Upload your manuscript.
  2. Pick the target language or region.
  3. Bookcicle translates the manuscript section by section.
  4. Built-in checks look for the wrong language, broken markup, or other obvious problems.
  5. You download the translated manuscript.

What You Get Back​

Depending on the project, you may get:

  • a translated manuscript
  • a web preview
  • common downloads like DOCX, PDF, Markdown, and sometimes HTML
  • EPUB in dedicated export flows
  • notes if any sections needed retries

This is a second review pass for stronger consistency across the full manuscript.

It is useful when you care about:
