Bookcicle Early Access Services & Features

Some parts of Bookcicle are in Early Access. These services and features are ready to use, but we are still improving the experience based on feedback and real-world use.

We use two kinds of Early Access:

  1. Early Access Features – in-app features that are still being shaped.
  2. Early Access Products and Flows – full products, checkout flows, or site experiences that may launch with intro pricing while we polish them.

1. Early Access Features​

These are in-app features that are available to use now, but may still change quickly. They are marked with an Early Access chip directly in the app.

What this means:

  • The feature is usable by everyone. No special opt-in is required.
  • It is still under active development and may change quickly.
  • Functionality, UX, and performance may shift as we iterate.

Current Early Access Features​

  • Support Docs Chat Bot – Chat with our AI agent trained on Bookcicle’s technical and user documentation.
  • Collaboration Tools – Shared projects.

2. Early Access Products and Flows​

Some full products, checkout flows, and site-wide experiences are also in Early Access, but do not show the Early Access chip.

Instead, they are launched with intro pricing and clearly labeled as such on the site (for example, “Intro pricing!” on a service card).

What this means:

  • These products are fully launched and supported, but:
    • Flows, limits, and options may still evolve.
    • Pricing and packaging may change after the intro period.
  • We treat them as Early Access while we finalize UX, performance, and pricing.

Examples​

  • AI Service Products with Intro Pricing
    Any Bookcicle product or one-off AI service that shows intro pricing is considered Early Access, even if it does not display the visual Early Access chip.
  • New Account or Billing Flows
    Certain new signup, checkout, or account-management experiences may also be in this category while we refine them.

If you see intro pricing on a Bookcicle product, you can assume it is in Early Access.

What to Expect​

For both types of Early Access:

  • Early Access services and features are fully usable and part of your normal Bookcicle account.
  • They may evolve quickly based on feedback and data.
  • Some behavior may change, and features may be added, removed, or re-arranged before “general availability.”
  • As always, we recommend keeping your own local backups of important work.

Why We Use Early Access​

Early Access helps set expectations:

  • You get early access to new capabilities and pricing.
  • We get real-world feedback to guide polish and priorities.
  • You don’t have to wait for a closed program or invite-only preview.

The difference is mostly how visible the label is:

  • Early Access Features are clearly labeled with the chip in the interface.
  • Early Access Products and Flows are usually indicated by intro pricing rather than a chip.

Feedback Channels​

  • In-App Chat – Use the support bot (bottom right of the platform) and toggle into feedback mode.
  • Docs – This page will stay updated with the current Early Access list and definitions.
  • Email – support@bookcicle.com.

Summary​

  • When you see the Early Access chip, you are using an Early Access Feature.
  • When you see intro pricing on a Bookcicle product, you are using an Early Access Product or Flow, even if there is no chip.

Both are available to use right away. They are just at slightly different stages of maturity and visibility.
